Calendula officinalis seed (originally purchased from Fedco) lovingly planted in spring.

Nurtured throughout the growing season with locally produced chemical-free compost, hand-collected salt marsh hay, and compost teas.

Harvested during the warmest part of the day and air-dried in the ion-rich breezes blowing off Essex’s salt marsh. 

Stored cool, dark, and dry in brown paper, with a silica gel packet in a plastic bag.
